NBN Business Fast fault fix SLAs
A 12hr fault fix SLA is standard on Enterprise Ethernet and Enhanced SLAs (eSLA) of 8 and 4hrs fault fix is available in most locations. See below for further explanation of the fast fix eSLAs.
Class of Service (CoS)
(CoS)Class of service is a way to manage different types of traffic over a network by giving certain types of traffic priority over others. Low CoS & High CoS NBN Enterprise Ethernet Business Fibre are available from CommsChoice with High CoS being a dedicated (1:1) service with bandwidth warranties.
There are two access options for connecting to the Internet through NBN business Fibre using CommsChoice Enterprise Ethernet;
- CoS-Low is a Peak Information Rate (PIR) service. PIR is the top bandwidth point of allowed traffic in non-busy times without any guaranteed bandwidth. For example, if you connect a 100Mbps CoS-Low service you will get a maximum 100Mbps but it is a ‘best efforts’ service and your connection is shared (or contended). This means you may not get that bandwidth at all times depending on the other users on the network. CoS-Low is good for internet browsing and Cloud connectivity.
- CoS-High is a Committed Information Rate (CIR) service. CIR is the minimum guaranteed traffic that will be delivered on the network. For example, if you connect a 100Mpbs CoS-High service, you will have 100Mbps at the network termination device at all times – it’s a 1:1 dedicated service. CoS-High is used for time sensitive applications such as voice, video and Citrix because 100% of the bandwidth is committed
Flexible
You can change bandwidth and CoS options at any time to suit your business needs.
